World Environment Day: Discovery Education Provides Resources to Primary Schools On the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day, Discovery Education – the worldwide edtech leader whose state-of-the-art digital platform supports learning wherever it takes place– is providing primary schools with dynamic digital resources to help teachers and children mark this global event. Held annually on 5 June, World Environment Day brings together millions of people from across the globe, engaging them in an effort to protect and restore the earth. The theme of this year’s event is #BeatPlasticPollution and the Discovery Education resources will engage young students with this important issue, while helping them to explore the changes they can make to protect our planet.
