Targeted specifically at supporting teacher wellbeing and career progression, the Pathway programme comprises a virtuous cycle of three main stages:
Explore motivations, analyse skills, identify career goals
Engage with professional learning, connect with community
Maintain wellbeing, solve problems, record achievements
If effective teaching considers the whole child, effective professional empowerment considers the whole teacher, and that includes their motivations, knowledge and skills, career aspirations and, most importantly, their wellbeing. If our aim is to instil positive attitudes and learning behaviours in all students, then the health and wellbeing of the adult in front of them is of great significance.
